7. Connecting through proxy/firewall

To enter firewall information, you will need to get data about your firewall from your network administrator.

Firewall settings may be accessed by clicking the "Options" button. "My FTP Places Options" dialog box will appear, click the "Firewall/Proxy" tab:

Select a firewall type from the drop-down list.
Enter the firewall's Host name or IP address.
Enter a Port number.
Enter the firewall Username or leave blank if not used.
Enter a Password or leave blank if not used.
