8. Using the built-in site manager to organize your FTP servers
Creating folders to manage FTP servers
To help you manage and organize FTP sites within the Site Manager, you can create any number of folders which can be organized in a hierarchical fashion, that is, folders can be subfolders of other folders:
To create an folder:
Click the "New Folder" icon in the toolbar, or right-click in the Site Manager window and select "New Folder" in the contextual menu:
Type a name for the folder.
To move one or more FTP sites from one folder to another:
You can move one or more FTP sites from one folder simply by dragging them (or by using copy and paste methods).
Display the folder where the FTP site is currently stored. Select the FTP site (folder) you want to move. Drag the selected sites or folders to the desired folder.
If you want to copy instead of move, hold the Ctrl button down while you drag.
To duplicate FTP sites and folders
You can duplicate FTP sites or entire folders by using copy and paste. Select FTP sites ( or folders) you wish to duplicate, right-clicjk the selection and select "Copy" in the contextual menu:
Right-click in the Site Manager window and select "Paste" in the contextual menu:
Deleting FTP sites and folders
Select the FTP site (folder) you want to delete.
Right-click the selection and select "Delete" in the contextual menu (or hit the "Del" key) .
Confirm deletion by clicking on the "Yes" button:
