3. Uploading a file to the FTP server See online demo

Navigate to the folder on the FTP server which will hold your file (HTML, image, music file, document, software program, etc. ). Open context menu (click the right mouse button anywhere in the folder listing ) and click on the "Upload..." item (you can also use Ctrl+U shortcut). The following dialog box will appear:



This dialog box allows you to select files and/or folders you wish to send to the FTP server. You can also use mouse to drag and drop files to the "Selected files" list box. Once files have been selected click on the "Upload" button.



This dialog box shows the progress of the transfer. Users on fast connections probably will not even notice this box as it will disappear quickly.

If files have been successfully transferred they will appear in the listing.
